Victoria House Nursery - Our Pedagogy

At Victoria House Nursery we base the children at the centre of everything we do. Our mission is to create a nursery where children are valued as individuals and their achievements are encouraged and celebrated. Every child in our care will feel secure, valued and listened to and will be encouraged to develop the confidence and independence to experiment and investigate.

We believe that listening to young children is the foundation for quality early childhood practice. Children who feel valued and listened to are able to develop their independence and ability to make choices, and develop their self-esteem. We value each child as a unique individual who grows and learns at their own pace. We give them the time and space to explore and investigate the world around them.  Such practice comes from highly trained practitioners who use their observational and reflective skills to ensure each individual child's needs are being met and their interests are followed.

We Value our parents/Carers as partners as nobody knows their children better than they do.
